The Lawton Grapevine
Spotlight of the Week
Our Spotlight of the Week is sure to give you goosebumps!
This week we take a peek at the Trail of Fear!
Located in Lawton, the Trail of Fear began as a single attraction in 1998 with a small tent and outdoor maze. Today the Trail of Fear is the largest haunted attraction in Oklahoma. It is the #1 highest rated haunted attraction in Oklahoma, and has been ranked in the top 31 haunted attractions in the USA, and continues to grow each year attracting thousands of visitors annually. The park features a number of different attractions. The Trail of Fear is located at 11101 SE Lee Blvd Lawton, OK 73501. Their box office is open Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30pm-10pm. On busier nights the box office stay open later.
It is important that everyone gets there before the box office closes. The haunts will stay open later depending on how many people are still in line after buying tickets. Ticket pricing can be found on their website as well as an option to purchase.
GRAPEVINE MEMBERS: Trail of Fear (lawton location only) has generously offered to give all our Grapevine members a discount! $2.50 off their "ALL PASS" and "SCREAM PASS'. To receive this discount you must purchase your tickets at the box office and show that you are a Grapevine member. Easy enough! Show your Grapevine pride and enjoy the park!
In 2013 Trail of Fear opened a second location called Thunderbird Trail of Fear in Noble Oklahoma. In its first season it was ranked the #2 highest rated attraction in Oklahoma (behind the Lawton Trail of Fear). In 2015 Trail of Fear is proud to announce the opening of our 3rd location DEAD WOODS Trail of Fear in Luther, OK just outside of Oklahoma City. So now with 3 locations and even more fun to be had, the only question is, which park to visit first?
